Bertelsmann has been inviting top students from all over the world to Talent Meets Bertelsmann in Berlin since 2008. At the 11th edition in 2018 more than 50 students from 12 different countries had the chance to get to know Bertelsmann from an inside perspective and to put their creative and entrepreneurial talents to the test. "I participated in TMB in 2012. Afterwards I finished my internship at careerloft in Berlin, then enjoyed the summer at my parents before writing my Master’s thesis in Montréal, Canada. During all that time I never lost contact with Bertelsmann, which was great for me, since I was looking to start a job right after my thesis."
"When TMB was over I returned to London, where I finished writing my Master’s thesis. After handing it in, I spent the five months from October 2011 to February 2012 in Brussels as a Blue Book trainee with the European Commission. Then, at Halloween, I joined the other team members and the leaders of our group on a trip to New York!"
"After TMB, I finished my master’s degree at the University of Amsterdam and then took off to Asia to travel and get to know different cultures (and different kinds of stomach flus). During that time, Bertelsmann’s HR department kept in touch with me. Nico Rose then posted a job opening in our TMB Facebook group, which is the position I work in today."
